If you need to bend a metal strip into a ring, for this you can use a homemade device for bending rings, for the manufacture of which you will need 2 pieces of a steel corner and nine bearings. Also, for this homemade product, you will need to use bolts with nuts and a piece of a round pipe.
The very design of the devices for bending rings is quite simple - this is why it is noteworthy. Unlike factory ring bends, this device looks very primitive. However, if you need to bend 1-2 rings once a month, then it makes no sense to buy or rent expensive machines for a while.
The main stages of work
As a supporting platform on which the fixture will be mounted, you can use ordinary metal vice. And first of all, using the hex key, you need to unscrew the clamping jaws.
Then two identical pieces must be cut from a 40x40 mm steel corner, after which we will drill two holes in them for fastening to a vice, using sponges as a template. In another shelf we also drill holes, but already under the bolts.
At the next stage, we fasten the pieces of the corner to the vice (to the place where the jaws were installed), and we insert the bolts with bearings into the upper holes and fix them with the nuts from below. The result should be three clips. A piece of pipe is put on the central roller, to which you need to weld a handle.
