To work with sealants in tubes (silicone, liquid nails, etc.), special guns are used. But what if there is no such gun at hand or if it breaks, and the sealant itself needs to be used somehow?
In this case, you can make yourself a simple home-made device for squeezing silicone from a tube. It does not take much time.
To make a home-made fixture, the master uses a hairpin, two round "five-copeck" plywood, three nuts, screws, as well as a small cylindrical wooden blank (this will be a handle).
The main stages of work
First of all, in the middle of the handle, the author drills a seat socket under the nut. To do this, he uses two drills: ordinary and feather. Then it will be necessary to press the nut into the drilled hole, fixing it along the edges with screws.
The author screwed a stud of the required length into the pressed-in nut, after which it fixes it with two nuts on one and the other side.
Next, it will be necessary to drill a mounting nest under the nut in a round "nickle" of plywood. We press the nut in and fix it at the edges with screws.
In the second round "nickle", the author also drills a hole and screws in a part of the Euro-screw with a hat. The homemade product is ready, and it remains only to fix it in a tube.
