Sometimes in mini-vans there is not enough free space for loading various dimensional materials (for example, sheets of plywood or chipboard, drywall, sheet metal, long sliding stairs, etc.).
In this case, a simple home-made device will help, which is made of steel profile pipes and has adjustable dimensions in length and width, which is very convenient - you can adapt to almost any material.
Preparatory work
For this homemade product, profile pipes of square section in different sizes will be required. In total, eight segments will need to be prepared. Then we drill holes for the bolted connection. Then we proceed to the welding work.
From the sections of the profile pipes, three main structural details must be welded: one T-shaped and two L-shaped. Then, in the previously drilled holes, insert the bolts with the thumbs and fix with the nuts that need to be welded to the pipes.
Metal assembly
We insert two L-shaped parts into the T-shaped tube, then set the desired size in width and fix them with bolts. Then we install a long profile pipe, set the appropriate size along the length and also fix the connection with bolts.
For transportation of bulky materials in a mini-van, we fix the central part of the fixture to the floor, after which we set the desired dimensions in length and width.
