It is necessary to move the semi-automatic welding machine with a gas cylinder from one place of work to another within walking distance (with a view to safety).
Therefore, it is best to transport it on a special trolley with a wheelbase. And not just any, but rather massive, with a carrying capacity of at least 250 kg.
But since it is not always possible to pick up a suitable trolley in a store for a specific welding machine, it is easiest to make it yourself from improvised materials - for example, from shaped pipes, scraps of a steel plate and corners.
The main stages of work
First of all, we cut the necessary workpieces, end the edges and grind the surface of the parts if necessary. First, we weld the main frame with a seat for a semi-automatic welding machine, and then on the side you need to prepare a place for a gas cylinder.
For aesthetic reasons, all weld spots must be cleaned with a grinder disc. At the edges of the metal structure, welding is used to attach rectangular steel plates to which it is then necessary to weld the castors.
The result is a simple but reliable enough trolley for safe transportation of the welding machine with a cylinder. If desired, it can be painted black or any other color. It is best to use paint in spray cans.
