So that hand tools, as well as various nozzles, adapters and molds, are not scattered throughout the workshop, and for the convenience of transportation, make yourself a small suitcase from a sheet of tin.

It’s better to choose the average size of the case to accommodate enough tool in it, while it will be quite lifting. You can make a small suitcase if you plan to store a small amount of tool in it.

The main stages of work

Having determined the size, mark out a sheet of tin, and then cut out two pieces of a rectangular shape. Then we clean the surface with a grinder with a cleaning disk. Next, using a steel ruler and a metal scriber, we mark up in accordance with the drawing.

We cut off all the excess with scissors for metal, and then bend the edges on a bending machine. Next, we make a loop (like a piano), and as a connecting rod, you can use a welding electrode, having previously cleaned it of the coating (coating).

Then we bend the sides using pliers or a pipe wrench. We pass the edges with a hammer. The result is a compact and lightweight box with a hinged lid. To connect the tin, you can use resistance welding or a simpler option - rivets.

From the pieces of tin we make "inserts" to divide the interior of the tool box into compartments. Then we make the handle latch. If desired, the finished tin can can be painted.
