Having made yourself such a simple but very useful homemade product from improvised materials, you can quickly and accurately saw wooden workpieces at an angle of 90 degrees. This device is definitely useful in the home workshop, taking into account its low cost, and will be especially useful for beginners.

The main stages of work

It is necessary to cut a piece of rectangular shape with a size of 52x48 cm from a chipboard sheet, and also for making a homemade device for manual circulars, four 20x40 mm wooden blocks of different lengths will need to be screwed to the edges of the sheet on screws or screws.

We drill holes of the desired diameter and fasten the wooden blocks, laying them on the edge (note that there should be a small gap between the bars). From the bottom of the chipboard sheet, it is necessary to fasten two bars of 80x80 mm. The basis of the design is ready - so now we proceed to the manufacture of a guide for the circular.

We cut off two pieces of a steel corner 30x30 mm with a length of 48 cm by a grinder and drill two holes with a diameter of 4 mm along the edges. Then, using an 8 mm drill, make a sweat to hide the caps of the screws. Next, two corners are screwed to the bars at an angle of 90 degrees - the width between them is determined individually, depending on the width of the sole of the circular.

To summarize

Using this home-made device, you can quickly saw or cut the bars and boards at a right angle. The maximum cut depth in this case is 40 mm, but it can be increased if desired. Write in the comments below the video what you think about this homemade product.
