If it is necessary to make a quality chamfer on drywall, which is needed for further joining sheets with a sickle or paper, it is more convenient not to cut it with a knife manually, but using a special device. You can make it from an old little grinder.

It should be noted that the factory tool designed to perform this work is expensive. A home-made can be assembled from more affordable and budget materials. In this case, you will need a small grinder, an old pan, scraps of plywood, one loop.

First, the master makes the markings on the old pan, and then cuts out the bottom and part of the side wall with a grinder. The edges of the workpiece must be filed with metal or processed using a blade disc to remove bumps and burrs.

The main stages of work

Next, with a metal crown, it is necessary to drill a hole under the grinder's gear shaft, and file the edges with a file. If a drill is available, you can use it - it will be faster.

After that, it is necessary to drill four more mounting holes for the bolts. Of the twenty nuts, the author makes "pillows" under the protective cover cut out of the pan to raise it a little. Then fastens it with long bolts to the gear housing.

At the last stage, a plank of plywood or OSB is installed with a loop from the window, to which the lid is then screwed. Homemade device is ready.
