Are you tired of the fact that the grinders are constantly lying on shelves or scattered in different corners of the workshop? Then it's time to figure out a secluded place for them. And for this you can, for example, make a simple metal "hanger".

As a basis, the master uses a piece of a building corner with a length of about 40-50 cm. In principle, the length can be different, depending on the number of angle grinders in the workshop.

After a piece of a corner is cut that is suitable for length, it will be necessary to clean it from old paint and rust using a grinder with a cord brush. You can also use a petal circle.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it will be necessary to mark the places for three holes. To drill them, the author uses a crown with a diameter of 35 mm. If there is no such crown at hand, then you can simply burn holes with an electrode.

In those places where holes are drilled, it is necessary to make small cuts with a grinder. To facilitate the construction, the master cuts out parts of the corner, then removes the burrs and processes sharp corners.

From the metal strip that was cut from the corner shelf, the master makes 2 pieces of 40 mm long. They are welded along the edges of the corner as a fixture. As a result, we get a ready-made “hanger” for angle grinders.

In the end, it remains only to paint the product and hang it on the wall in the garage or workshop. For details on how to make a metal "hanger" for storing grinders, see this video.
