If you need a compact barbecue grill, which could be taken with you (transported in the trunk), then there is a simple solution. Make yourself a barbecue grill from an old car wheel.
To make the brazier, you will need a wheel drive from a car, pieces of a metal plate, a steel round timber and pieces of round pipes.
First of all, it is necessary to cut off part of the rim with a grinder. Then the edges will need to be sanded with a petal wheel.
The resulting “hoop” (the cut-off part from the rim) will also need to be treated with a petal circle to remove burrs.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts out small blanks from a piece of metal plate. They need to be welded to the holes on the sides of the rim. The hole in the center also needs to be welded.
Next, you need to cut three pieces of steel round timber of the same length and weld them to the rim - the cup of the barbecue. Legs will be put on them (pieces of a round pipe).
After that, the author welds small pieces of a metal plate to the hoop so that it can be rigidly fixed on the bowl. From the electrodes it will be necessary to weld the grill for frying products.
