In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make a simple electric drive on a garden trolley. For this, he uses a car wiper motor gear.
Thanks to the electric trolley, you don’t need to strain especially to transport any heavy load from one place to another.
First of all, remove the wheel from the wheelbarrow (in this case, the unicycle trolley) and weld an asterisk to it.
Next, install another asterisk of a smaller size on the motor wiper shaft of the car wiper.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we cut off a small piece of the building corner and drill fixing holes in it. Then we fix it to the motor gear housing.
After that, we install the previously removed wheel back onto the trolley, after putting the chain on the sprocket. We mark and drill holes in the trough for mounting the gearmotor.
The author uses a battery from a screwdriver as a power source for the electric motor. We connect the battery to the gearmotor, and place it in the bag, which we fasten on one of the handles of the cart.
