In this review, the author shows the technology of laying paving slabs. Perhaps this information will be useful to someone.

First of all, you need to dig the soil over the entire area where the tiles will be laid, to a depth of 20 cm.

Of these, 10 cm - it will be a "pillow", 4 cm - semi-dry concrete. The tile has a thickness of 6 cm (dimensions - 15 * 15 cm).

The base must be tamped. Then the author lays down the gutters to drain the water, keeping the slope in the right direction.

The main stages of work

A geotextile is laid on the prepared "pillow", and on top is a metal mesh of reinforcement.

At the next stage, we distribute semi-dry concrete over the entire area in small piles.

After that, we level the semi-dry concrete and compact it with a vibrating plate. After tamping, water the concrete base with water.

Next, evenly distribute a layer of small gravel (gravel) over the entire surface, and after that you can proceed directly to the laying of paving slabs.

At the last stage, it remains only to spill the seams between the tiles with fine quartz sand and ram the tile with a vibrating plate.

A detailed description of all stages of work and the technology of laying paving tiles with your own hands, see the video on our website.
