In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make a mini desktop hydraulic press with your own hands, which is useful for various crafts.
This will require a bottle-type car jack with a lifting capacity of up to 2 tons. For home use, such a jack is enough.
As a basis, the author uses a piece of the channel. In the center, you need to weld the rack from the profile pipe.

The main stages of work
At the next stage of the work, the author cuts another piece of the profile pipe and fastens it to the rack perpendicularly.
It turned out a lever, to the end of which the author fastens two metal strips with bolts, and between them - a piece of a round pipe. Welds must be cleaned with a grinder.
The master puts a ring from a pipe of large diameter onto the pipe, to which a piece of round bar is welded. The second end of the bar must be welded to the rack.
From a piece of the channel it will be necessary to make a clamping sponge. The author welds it to a round pipe.
At the last stage, it remains only to weld two nuts to the lever and base to install the spring. Also, the author welds the stop for the jack to the lever.
