To make it you will need:
- a piece of dense material (felt, flannel or wool) of bright color with a size of 15 cm x 25 cm;
- a piece of white loose fabric (calico or flannel) of 3 cm x 5 cm;
- threads in tone of the main fabric (or close in color to it);
- white threads;
- black threads;
- magnet;
- a needle;
- Super glue;
- filler (synthetic winterizer, cotton wool, etc.).
On a large piece of fabric on the front side, draw with a pencil the outlines of patterns in the form of a kitten's body. Then cut these two small figurines of the future souvenir.
Their height should be about 15 cm, width - about 10 cm. Cut two small circles with a diameter of one centimeter from the calico. Sew these white circles-eyes on the front side of one of the patterns, embroider the pupils on them.
Then embroider the nose, cilia, mustache, cat’s mouth. Fold the two patterns with the front parts to each other and sew them together from the wrong side. You don’t need to sew to the end - leave a 3-4 cm section in order to turn the stitched figures out. Turn them on the front side and stuff tightly with filler.
Then carefully sew a non-sewn hole on the side of the toy with a secret seam. Spread the filler evenly inside the abdomen of the toy. Make a small bow out of a white piece of fabric (approximately 3cm x 2 cm).
Then sew this bow from a white fabric in front under the muzzle.
Stick the magnet on the back of the toy with super-glue. Let the glue dry thoroughly. Everything, a little cute handmade souvenir is ready.
