Do you dream to make a memory imprint of the handle or legs of your child? Recently, it has gained great popularity, and ready-made purchase sets help to make prints effortlessly.
But at home, you can repeat something similar from a regular salt dough.
Materials
What is needed:
- Wheat flour - 1 tbsp.
- Salt - 0.5 tbsp.
- Water - about 0.5 tbsp.
- As well as foil (or parchment for baking) and a rolling pin.
We make a cast for a long memory
Mix salt and flour, add water a little until the consistency of elastic dough.
Roll the dough into a layer about 1-1.5 cm thick on a sheet of foil or parchment.
If the baby is not already very small, he can participate in this process. Tip: if the rolling pin sticks strongly to the dough, moisten it with water. Then press the handle or leg of the child into the rolled dough.
On the side with a toothpick, a dotted pattern can squeeze out the name and date.
Leave to dry in a place without direct sunlight for 2 weeks. When the prints are completely dry and harden, they can be varnished.
