Currently, the markets have an abundance of building materials of various densities that are used in the construction of houses. At the same time, everyone, when choosing a building material, strives to ensure that the house is reliable and warm.
Recently, such building material as a gas block has become popular among buyers. This is one of the varieties of concrete. By production of gas blocks adhere to high temperature and a certain degree of humidity. In addition to the main ingredients, aluminum crumb is introduced into the solution. The composition is processed in a special autoclave, which helps to increase the strength of the material.

Aerated concrete blocks have a number of undeniable advantages:
1. Strength.
2. Block sizes. Each manufacturer has different block sizes, with different strength indicators and heat conductivity.
3. It is produced at construction enterprises, mainly in large batches. Fully compliant with GOST and has a certain size.
4. Convenience of transportation - gas blocks belong to the category of light building materials.
5. Ease of installation, due to the smooth edges on all sides of the block.
6. Profitability. Its cost is much less than brick.
7. It has good heat and sound insulation properties.
8. It lends itself to self-processing. If necessary, it can be drilled or sawn, and also give it any desired shape.

9. The speed of construction - due to the large size of the block itself.

Disadvantages of aerated concrete blocks:
Of the shortcomings, only one can be distinguished: the gas block does not belong to moisture-resistant materials. But this flaw is easy to remove. It is enough to make the exterior decoration of the house. Exterior decoration of the house can be done: facing brick, siding, and so on.
But the most important thing in all this is that to build a house it is not necessary to invite a specialist, you can do everything yourself. It will take a lot less effort than working with other materials.

But first of all, it is important to calculate the required number of aerated concrete blocks and other building material. The sizes of the blocks must be chosen depending on the climate, and on the characteristics of heating.
Aerated concrete blocks are laid out on a ready foundation. To connect the first row with the second, a cement-sand mortar is used. And for subsequent rows use special glue. Before applying, the surface is slightly moistened with water. Glue lays evenly, thanks to the smooth surface of the block.
The peculiarity of this glue is that it dries quickly. Therefore, pull with the calculation and alignment of the blocks is not worth it. The row can be adjusted within 15 minutes after installation by tapping with a rubber mallet.
