The sewing method of the toy is very simple. It takes about 1.5 hours to work.
You will need:
- white fabric like fleece;
- sewing thread and needle;
- filler;
- toy eyes and glue;
- a glass of tightly brewed tea;
- salt;
- Eucalyptus oil.
- Consider our work in stages.
Stage One. Pattern.
Any needlework always starts with a pattern. So we need to create it first on paper, and then transfer it to the fabric. This is what the paper pattern looks like.
We transfer it to the fabric using special markers; some details must be performed in several copies.
So, we should get 2 parts of the head, 1 part of the upper part of the head, 4 parts of the lower extremities, 4 parts of the upper limbs, 4 parts of the ear, 4 parts of the body.
Stage Two. We sew the details.
We begin to sew 4 parts of the body. Add holofiber. That's what we get.
Then, together, first, we sew together two parts of the muzzle, and then the upper part. The material is so good that the seams are almost invisible. Sew the bear ears. We stuff the toy with filler.
Now we should sew on the head and body, which we do.
Next, sew the legs together, stuff them.
After stuffing, we sew the paws so that there are no holes.
And in place of the upper limbs, insert the wire.
Sew paws to the body.
Then we do the same with the lower extremities. First we do them.
Then we stretch the wire in their place.
And then we sew them to the toy.
The skeleton of the toy is ready, the only thing left is to make the bear flavored.
Stage Three. The most important details.
We make tea in a glass and wait until it turns dark brown. Add 2 tablespoons of salt to a glass. Mix. With this solution, we color our bear, and you can put it in a bowl with tea.
Then we dry the toy. Tea is a natural dye, so our baby will turn a light brown color. After drying, it will be pleasant to smell tea, and to fix another aroma, we generously smear the toy’s forehead with eucalyptus oil. The smell will be just amazing!
Then you should glue the eyes from the black beads and embroider the nose and eyebrows in the teddy bear. You can also embroider claws.
Here is our baby and ready. Here it is on a red background.
And here is the material from which it was made.
Indeed, the toy has acquired a brown color, which is now impossible to wash off.
