Materials for work:
- a bracelet 4-5 cm wide (metal, plastic, wooden or any);
- eggshell;
- acrylic paints;
- acrylic lacquer;
- PVA glue;
- wet wipes, toothpick.
Let's get started?
1. First, we need an egg shell from raw eggs. Wash the shell, remove the white membrane film, and then treat the eggshell with a soda solution for disinfection.
2. We cover each shell with acrylic paint of any color, and the more such bright shells turn out, the brighter and more colorful our bracelet will be.
3. As a result, we should get a lot of shells of different colors.
4. We take a bracelet blank.
5. We degrease the working surface of our bracelet, for this we will process it with cotton wool soaked in alcohol.
6. For convenience and simplicity of work, crumble the shell of different colors into small pieces.
7. Using a brush, apply PVA glue to the blank bracelet.
8. With a toothpick, we begin to lay on the bracelet a colored mosaic shell.
9. We continue to lay out a bright shell around the entire perimeter of the bracelet.
10. Gradually, large pieces of shell of different colors fill the entire bracelet. Photo.
11. Now we proceed to the smaller parts - we begin to fill in the voids, paying attention to the upper and lower edges of the bracelet.
12. In very small parts we will decorate the sides of the bracelet.
13. If you want to give the bracelet a specific color scheme, use small parts of the same color to fill in the voids. Here you should give vent to your imagination, as the bracelet can be made in one color scheme, or divided into bright segments like a rainbow.
14. Acrylic varnish will cover the entire surface of the bracelet, paying special attention to all the hollows. The varnish should cover not only the mosaic, but also all the gaps between it. This is for a solid hold.
15. Well we miss the edge.
16. After the acrylic varnish dries well, we take a gold-colored acrylic paint and apply it on the entire surface of the bracelet.
17. We pay special attention to the gaps between the mosaics.
18. Without allowing the paint to completely dry, take a slightly damp cloth and begin to wipe the gold paint from the surface of the bracelet. At the same time, we try to remove excess paint from the surface of the mosaic-shell without touching the gold paint between them.
19. And the final step, a gold-colored paint to properly go along the edges of the bracelet.
20. We will cover the finished bracelet again with a layer of acrylic varnish.
That's all, our bracelet is ready! Create a unique and summer thing for yourself easily, quickly and interestingly. We wish you success!
