Kitchen board with abstract pattern

Do not know what to present to a person near and dear to you? There is nothing better than hand-made presentations; you put your soul and love into them. A kitchen board with an abstract fish pattern is an original gift that you will definitely appreciate. In my master class, I will tell you in stages how the composition was created and color spots were selected.
We will need these tools and materials:
- an oval kitchen board;
- the pencil is soft;
- brush;
- paints (gouache);
- varnish for wood.
We need paints in the following colors (not necessarily finished, they can be mixed):
- red light;
- red dark;
- blue;
- blue;
- light green;
- turquoise;
- emerald.
Creation Steps:
1. Draw a fish with a soft pencil. We come up with a general composition, we work out the details. The general spot of the picture should be inscribed in the shape of the board, in our case - in the oval.
2. We paint part of the elements (fins and ponytails) with emerald-colored paint.
3. Now we take a turquoise color and partially draw the body and head of the fish.
4. Add color spots of a light red hue to the overall compositional solution. Try to alternate warm and cold shades so that the compositional solution is holistic and harmonious.
5. The remaining parts of the picture are painted with blue paint.
6. In blue we begin to draw patterns on the bodies of fish, partially draw a outline, draw eyes.
7. Finish the picture: add curls of dark red color on light red spots and light green color on the blue and turquoise parts of the image.
The original kitchen board with an abstract pattern is ready! Coat it with clear varnish so that the product is not afraid of moisture. You can give free rein to your imagination and come up with your own unique composition.
