DIY NEW YEAR CARD - DIFFERENT

To create a postcard you will need:
- paper for scrapbooking with New Year's theme,
- scissors
- double sided tape,
- pencil and ruler,
- glue-moment
- sewing machine,
- velvet paper of green and red colors,
- blank for postcards,
- needle and thread,
- glue stick,
- beads
- a piece of packaging from fruit or any other improvised material (for the manufacture of "Christmas tree").
Making a card
1. Prepare a vertically oriented blank for the postcard.

2. Having departed from the edge of the card the distance you think is appropriate, draw a vertical line. Lines should be on both sides of the product.

3. In the resulting "frame" you must enter a rectangle of velvet green paper.

4. Duplicate the lines on velvet paper with stitches; sew two vertical lines with a sewing machine.

5. Generously glue the back of the velvet paper with glue and place it on the front side of the postcard.

6. Make decorative elements that fill the area of velvet paper. Cut out your favorite shapes from scrapbooking paper.

7. For each figure, make a substrate of several fragments. Use thick paper. Glue all the parts, layering them on top of each other. This will add more volume to the images. White paper irregularities are best cut off when the figure is assembled.

8. We make the Christmas tree. In this case, part of the packaging was used, but you can pick up some of the materials that you have available. Show your imagination and try to see the "Christmas tree" in some ordinary or unusual subject.

9. Place the finished parts on the postcard in the places where they look most successful. At this stage, stick the figures early.

10. Make a "garland" for the "Christmas tree". Cut out circles of red velvet paper. Glue the mugs so that they are red on both sides. Pick a thread in tone, use a needle to make a "garland".

11. Decorate the card with beads, capturing the area under the Christmas tree. It is best to use glue-moment.

12. On the inside of the Christmas tree, glue the double-sided tape. Apply it randomly without affecting the lower part of the product, which will allow you to maintain the volume of the figure. Glue the Christmas tree to the card.

13. "Garland" can be attached to the card with glue-moment. There is a second way - to skip the needle with a red thread for the "Christmas tree" and intercept the "garland" in the right places with a loop.
