To create such an ornament you should prepare:
Material:
- fabric "clematis" orange.
- white satin ribbon with a width of 5 cm.
- medium size silver beads.
- white beads.
- wire.
- a thin tape 0.5 cm wide golden hue
- hairpin.
- large red sequins in the shape of hearts.
Instruments:
- glue gun.
- lighter.
- ruler.
- scissors.
- tweezers.
Create hair clips.
1 Making wings.
To begin with, you need to cut out 6 identical even squares from the prepared orange fabric, each with sides of 5 cm. And from the white ribbon also make 4 parts of the same size. Since the width of the tape is already 5 cm, you just have to cut the required length.
Now from these blanks you should make wings for the butterfly. To do this, take two squares, one orange, and the second white. You should fold them across to give them a triangular shape.
Then you need to impose the resulting triangles on top of each other, combining one of their sides. In this case, the orange should be located below.
Then you need to gently bend the free corner of the orange triangle to the bottom.
After this, the same technique should be repeated with the free angle of the white triangle.
As a result, you get a triangle in which the corners are intertwined, but the white side is on top.
Now you should carefully fold the resulting part in half.
Pointed and uneven edges you need to trim and immediately scorch with fire, keeping the fabric from shedding and soldering every layer made.
Now you need to measure 0.7 cm from the fold lines of this part and cut off all excesses with scissors. And the new slices obtained in this way are neatly scorched with a lighter.
Next, you need to straighten the resulting workpiece and make the same three more pieces.
Further from the remaining two orange squares, you need to make two more of the same elements, but without adding white details.
To do this, you should fold the square in half three times.
Trim thin uneven corners and scorch with a lighter flame. And then draw the same width as the rest of the parts, equal to 0.7 cm.
After that, you need to make two pieces of 8 cm each from a golden ribbon. And glue these segments one by one around the prepared combined elements.
2 Butterfly mix.
Now you need to carefully glue together the combined part and a single orange. In this case, the second should be 0.3 mm lowered from the main workpiece. From the remaining elements you should make the same wing blank.
Now you need to glue the two parts obtained to each other, combining them only with the tops.
To the resulting lower wings you need to attach the upper wings.
You made the basis of the butterfly, it remains only to add small details. From the wire you will need two lengths of 5 cm long. For each of them you need to thread white beads so that it fills more than half the length of the wire. Then carefully wrap one edge of each part so that the beads cannot slip off, and twist the opposite sides together, creating a spiral to the beads. In this way you will get a mustache for a butterfly.
The resulting antennae should be glued strictly along the line connecting the butterfly wings. But in order to hide the resulting compounds you need to attach three large sequins in this place.
Now you need to take the prepared silver beads and stick them around the edges of the main details of the butterfly wings.
After that, you just have to fix the hairpin on the wrong side of the resulting jewelry.
The Orange Butterfly hairpin is ready!
